Marquin Decker

Marquin’s inspiration to enter the field comes from her own personal experiences with the mental health and confidence challenges many teen girls face. She is passionate about being a safe place for young women to explore emotions, embrace their inner strength, and know they are never alone. Marquin believes deeply in the healing potential of family relationships and feels honored to help restore connection, trust, and unconditional support within families. Prior to joining Roots, she worked at a therapeutic ranch for five years, facilitating both small-animal and equine-assisted counseling sessions. She brings this unique expertise to her work, integrating the healing power of animals into therapy. Marquin hopes every girl she works with leaves feeling empowered and comfortable in her own skin. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, family time, and caring for animals.
