Our Mission
Through a comprehensive, whole-child (biological-psychological-social-spiritual) approach, provided in a safe, nurturing, and undistracted environment, the girls at Roots will journey through their life story, discover their core roots, create a loving sense of self, reconnect with family and community, build hope in a healthy and purposeful life, and develop a firm belief that they are enough.
His-Story
Roots honors Nathan, who lost his 20+ year battle with addiction on Nov. 11, 2020, at the age of 33. Roots will honor his life, lived with grit, heart, and hope, by walking with youth and their families toward healing and renewal.
Guiding Truth
“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we will ever do.” — Brene Brown
This is the guiding truth we instill in all the girls who walk through our doors. You are still worthy of love, regardless of your past, and self-love is the most important kind of love for a teenage girl to have.
Vision
Our vision at Roots is to help cleanse, equip, empower, and renew the girls in our care so that they can reach their full potential. By doing this, we want them to realize that they are strong enough to face any challenge and overcome the things they struggle with.
Here at Roots Renewal Ranch, we help adolescent girls ages 13-17 overcome their mental health and/or substance use problems. It can be tough to watch your daughter struggle with serious mental health issues and childhood trauma. Watching your daughter struggle with substance use before they’ve even finished high school is downright terrifying.
We know substance use and mental illness often go hand in hand. We are here to help your daughter take a step away from the stress of day-to-day life, discover new ways to deal with the problems they face, find faith in a higher power, and reconnect with themselves and their family.
We want them to know that they are enough and that it’s OK that they need help. We are here to offer that help.
How to get started
Starting with Roots Renewal Ranch’s Program is a 3-step process that often takes a few days to several weeks depending on your child’s unique case, insurance and payment readiness, and available space.
1- The initial phone call
Tell us your story, explore treatment approaches, and together we’ll figure out insurance and financing.
2- Fit Assessment
An admissions specialist will do a phone assessment (about an hour) to discuss the needs of your child.
3- Admission Approval
We’ll schedule a call between the intake coordinator and your child and set an admissions date.
